2.1 Nature of the information we collect

Some emails we send are operational and contain information essential to the proper functioning of our products or tools, such as messages regarding your purchases, news from Edilex or updates to our products. As such, these operational messages will continue to be sent to our customers when required.

BY SUBMITTING PERSONAL INFORMATION TO EDILEX AND/OR BY BROWSING AND USING OUR WEBSITES, YOU CONSENT THAT EDILEX MAY COLLECT, USE AND DISCLOSE SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POLICY AND SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND TERMS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW.

The statistical information we collect is not linked to your personal information and is not used to identify you. This information includes in particular the browsers used (for example, Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer) and their language, the approximate location of the IP addresses of the users as well as the pages visited and the duration of their consultation.

This data is collected automatically by analysis tools and is intended to give us information on the habits of our customers and on their purchasing process. The Policy is effective as of February 23, 2018. Edilex reserves the right to update the Policy whenever it sees fit. When Edilex makes changes to the Policy, we will also change the “Last Updated” date as found at the top of the Edilex Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the Policy periodically to be informed about how Edilex is protecting your information and to be notified of any changes to the Policy. A version of the Policy is available in English. In case of discrepancy between the two versions, the French version prevails over the English version.
