Introduction

The Internet is, nowadays, the most important media. While a presence on the Web is not yet absolutely necessary, it is nonetheless extremely useful. As the information published on the Internet is available at all times and anywhere in the world, the website quickly is a promotional medium of choice for businesses.

This agreement establishes the framework, in the broadest and most detailed way possible, of the useful, necessary and mandatory conditions to be met by the business wishing to be present, for commercial or promotional purposes, on the Internet. Consequently, this document establishes the legal and financial framework governing the creation and hosting of a website.

Description

The Website Development Agreement is the legal instrument by which a person or firm, known as the CLIENT, gives information relating to its activities, products and services to a DEVELOPER (host), which designs, hosts and publishes Web sites on the Internet for the purpose of putting such information on-line.

Use

We recommend the use of this contract to any person wishing to be visible on the Web to promote its activities.

Due to the transnational nature of the Internet, specific undertakings must govern such an operation, to avoid any risk to the service provider of being held liable for any illegal content on the site pursuant to national laws. This agreement includes two distinct purposes, namely the design and hosting of the web site. If the client wishes to assign these tasks to different firms, this document should be adjusted accordingly.
